Media Trust X UN Women X Crucible Foundation X Imara
The Brief
We worked with the brilliantly creative agency Republic of Imagination to produce a film for the Media Trust’s campaign with UN Women UK and the Crucible Foundation. Our short film was one of ten produced to amplify the voices and lived experiences of women and girls in the UK. We needed to tell the story of an abuse survivor; how their recovery journey looked with the incredible Imara, a charity who provide support to children, teenagers, and their families affected by sexual and domestic abuse.
How We Did It
We worked with the brilliant artist Grace Ruyin, she expertly designed and painted four portraits of a girl over time; from early years to late teens.
Animated in After Effects, the layers for each painting were brought on along with lots of painterly stokes and blooms.
How Did We Do
I LOVE working with Rumpus and always have. Given the chance I’d use them for every animation production we do. It’s the perfect over-lapping Venn diagram of Great Quality / Great Value / Great Humans which is all any agency partner wants really.
