SARSAS – Consent

Animation, Design, Educational, Explainer, Third Sector

We produced three animations for the Bristol based charity SARSAS – Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support – funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, intended to start conversations and deliver vital messages around consent to a teenage audience. The animations covered 3 subjects – What is Consent, Alcohol and Consent and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

In the design phase we pitched characters to fit a brief that asked for characters of no specific sex, age or race – experimenting with different animal and blob characters. The client happily settled upon our silly ‘blobs’. They make mistakes and flounder around as the voice over gives advice on acceptable behaviours and common misconceptions around the themes.
